The clip has been widely circulated, with many believing it showcases a stunning performance at the prestigious air show.
Fact:
Our investigation reveals that this claim is false. The viral video is not from Aero India 2025 and has been on the internet since March 2024, almost a year before the event. footage could not have been recorded at Aero India 2025, which was held in February 2025.
Further analysis of the video disproves the claim even more. The fighter jet in the clip is not real but a remote-controlled model aircraft. The plane features the words ‘Euro Sport 30,’ which led us to investigate further. A deep dive into the Google Open Search Tool revealed that CARF-Models, a well-known manufacturer, produces such model planes. Their website showcases similar models, confirming that the aircraft in the viral video is not a full-sized fighter jet.
To strengthen our findings, we conducted a reverse image search using Yandex and Google Lens. This led us to multiple earlier uploads of the same video, proving that the footage existed long before Aero India 2025.
Additionally, official coverage of Aero India 2025 is available across platforms, including Doordarshan National’s YouTube channel. None of the official sources feature the viral video, further proving that it is unrelated to the airshow.
