Several photographs have gone viral on social media claiming to show Bollywood superstar Salman Khan visiting actor Saif Ali Khan, who was recently injured in a robbery attempt. The images depict Saif lying on a hospital bed with Salman Khan by his side. However, FactCheck India confirms that these images are not real and were created using artificial intelligence (AI).

What Happened?

Saif Ali Khan sustained multiple injuries during a foiled robbery attempt at his residence on January 16, 2025. He underwent surgery at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital and was discharged on January 21, 2025. Following his discharge, Saif met with his mother, Sharmila Tagore, at his residence.

Amid these developments, images surfaced online allegedly showing Salman Khan visiting Saif at the hospital. The viral pictures carried the text “Grok” in the bottom-right corner, a watermark linked to X’s Grok AI chatbot, which generates images via text prompts.

Using Hive’s AI detection tool, FactCheck India analyzed the viral images. The results revealed:
