Claim: A viral video showing passengers sweating and fanning themselves inside an aircraft is being shared online with the claim that it was filmed moments before the deadly Air India crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, 2025.

Verdict: False – The video is unrelated to the crash and dates back to August 2024. It was filmed on an entirely different flight.

As news of the tragic crash of a London-bound Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner in Ahmedabad spread, misinformation followed swiftly on social media. One viral video, viewed over 400,000 times, shows visibly distressed passengers on a sweltering flight without air conditioning.
